Job summary

Pride Global in Maplewood, MN is seeking a contract Engineering Technician to support scientists in a laboratory environment. You will perform testing on products and materials, document results, and assist with day-to-day lab operations.

The role requires hands-on lab experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. A Bachelor's or Associate degree is required, with 1 year minimum and 2–3 years preferred; CAD/SolidWorks knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and test methods.
  • Ability to work independently in a laboratory environment.
  • Analytical and curious mindset with the ability to identify data trends and help solve problems.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Hands-on experience working in a shop or technical environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with scientists, engineers, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Perform testing on products and raw materials using defined test methods and accurately record data.
  • Use computer software to analyze test data, summarize conclusions, and complete required documentation.
  • Prepare, operate, and maintain basic hand tools, power tools, and laboratory equipment.
  • Independently perform assigned laboratory tasks and testing activities.
  • Conduct routine laboratory duties, including sample storage, supply inventory, and chemical inventory.
  • Maintain an organized and safe laboratory environment.
  • Train other team members on sample preparation, test methods, and laboratory protocols as needed.
  • Support scientists and engineers with laboratory and engineering activities.

Job description

The Science Team at Pride Health supports the Material Science organization and has an opening for Engineering Technician in Maplewood, MN

Position Summary:

We are seeking a contract Engineering Technician to support scientists and engineers in a laboratory environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on laboratory experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to independently perform testing, document results, and support day-to-day laboratory operations.

Additional Details:

Contract Length: 12 Months with the possibility of extensions

Pay range: $22 to $27 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
