Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or related field is required.
• BS degree preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with standard software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). SAP experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support product scale-up at manufacturing sites by participating in trial runs.
• Maintain basic knowledge of experimental goals and product chemistry.
• Spot inconsistencies in experiment procedures and/or equipment.
• Prepare experimental synthesis procedures and calculations to meet objectives.
• Select appropriate tests and equipment from standard tests.
• Develop expertise in standard procedures and train others.
• Understand synthesis procedures and analyze analytical results.
• Configure, operate, clean, and maintain reactor systems.
• Troubleshoot lab systems and issues with problem-solving.
• Set routine tasks, adjust priorities, and progress toward plan independently.
