Qualifications

• Excellent communication in English with patients, staff and customers.
• Ability to read text and numbers in English with comprehension and judgment.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn hospital systems.
• Phlebotomy knowledge and ability to collect samples.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in processing specimens.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and sample collection for patients of all ages.
• Process, transport and prepare patient specimens for testing.
• Operate and troubleshoot basic lab equipment and maintain quality reporting.
• Adhere to safety policies and PPE usage; handle hazardous materials as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation, verification of patient IDs, and data entry.
• Provide excellent customer service and staff support; train new staff as needed.
