Job summary

AdventHealth in Daytona Beach, FL seeks a part-time Phlebotomy Technician to collect blood specimens, process samples and support laboratory operations. You will perform phlebotomy, assist with specimen handling and maintenance of equipment according to safety policies.

The role requires strong English communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to work nights and weekends as scheduled. Prior lab experience is preferred and certification may be advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School grad or equivalent required.
• Technical/vocational training preferred.
• Six months experience in healthcare or AdventHealth Lab preferred.

Responsibilities

• May perform point of care testing and related quality control.
• Perform phlebotomy by venipuncture or capillary collection.
• Receive, process and transport patient specimens to testing areas.
