Job description

Our Client, a Manufacturing and Distribution Facilities company, is looking for a Lab Technician II for their Buena Park, CA location.

Responsibilities:

1. The Laboratory Technician II position provides laboratory testing and sampling, laboratory maintenance, and advanced technical assistance in support of product development and manufacturing.
2. This includes sampling, testing, and data generation for use in assigning material and product disposition, supporting product stability, method development and validation work, and manufacturing support. Demonstrated capabilities include those related to advanced technical assistance in the lab and to Scientists.
3. Contacts include working within the group and department with occasional contact with external customers (e.g., Manufacturing, Product Development, suppliers).
4. Works in a laboratory environment with general supervision and instruction from Scientists and Supervisors.

Requirements:

1. Expected accomplishments include the coordination and completion of appropriate testing (e.g., chemical, physical, microbiological), clear and accurate documentation of results, timely reporting of results, and acquiring and improving technical skills.
