Job summary

Eurofins USA Food Testing seeks a Part-Time Laboratory Technician I (Registration Department) in DeSoto, TX. The role involves handling outsourced samples, preparing submissions to sister labs, processing client orders, coordinating courier services, and maintaining accurate data in the labware system.

A high school diploma or higher and ability to work weekends are required. The position offers strong benefits, weekly scheduling, and opportunities to contribute to quality-control processes

Qualifications

• AS or BS degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Experience in plating, plate reading, and sample preparation.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage outsourced samples with partner Eurofins laboratories to ensure timely COA release for clients.
• Prepare samples to be sent to sister labs or other contract labs for subcontracted work.
• Process online electronic orders from clients and sister labs.
• Coordinate with courier services to ensure timely sample arrival and delivery.
• Enter sample data into Eurofins labware management system accurately.
• Maintain supply inventory and adhere to quality and safety standards.
