Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Sandlin lab at the Center for Engineering in Medicine & Surgery is seeking a candidate to join an interdisciplinary team. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree related field required.
• 1-2 years laboratory experience preferred.
• Experience with Drosophila or other insect model systems a plus.
• Engineering coursework, research, or prototyping experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory experiments following established protocols and procedures.
• Prepare and handle samples, reagents, and solutions, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Conduct biological assays and contribute to development and evaluation of new protocols and chemistries.
• Assist with design, prototyping, testing, and iterative improvement of devices used to automate the cryopreservation protocol.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and organize samples; record and analyze data.
