Job summary

Pace® Analytical Services in Newburgh, NY, is seeking a Lab Technician 1 for our environmental testing lab. This full-time, onsite role supports sample preservation, preparation, processing and maintenance, with training provided to grow an exciting laboratory sciences career.

We are a safety‑driven team focused on high‑quality data and community health. A high school diploma is required; lab experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, stand for long periods, wear PPE.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
• Maintain and update documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.
