Job summary

Pace® Labs in Melville, NY is seeking a Lab Technician 1 for a full-time, onsite role Tuesday through Saturday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM. You will support sample-related activities, maintain documentation, and participate in training to uphold safety standards in an environmental testing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, stand for long periods, wear PPE as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.
