Job summary

Nutrien seeks a Wet Chem Laboratory Technician to support the Wet Chem laboratory by following methodologies and preparing samples. You will prepare samples, operate and maintain laboratory equipment, and document results in a precise manner.

You will assist with inventory, ensure equipment cleanliness, and uphold safety as a core value while performing other duties as required in this environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-3 years of previous experience working in an environmental laboratory is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for a wide variety of testing procedures, following outlined methodologies and SOPs.
• Operate and maintain scientific equipment/instrumentation.
• Document activities and report results accurately and concisely.
• Assist group leaders and analysists in ordering and inventorying consumables, chemicals, and parts for instrumentation.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and work areas.
• Model our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you are actively contributing to a safe work environment.
• Other duties as required.
