Job summary

Nutrien in Memphis is seeking a Semi-Volatiles Laboratory Technician to support the semi-volatiles laboratory by following methodologies and preparing samples.

You will prepare samples, operate and maintain instrumentation, document results, and assist with ordering consumables while maintaining a clean, safe lab environment. This role emphasizes safety and precise execution in environmental testing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of previous experience working in an environmental laboratory is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for a wide variety of testing procedures, following outlined methodologies and SOPs.
• Operate and maintain scientific equipment/instrumentation.
• Document activities and report results accurately and concisely.
• Assist group leaders and analysists in ordering and inventorying consumables, chemicals, and parts for instrumentation.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and work areas.

• Assist group leaders and analysists in ordering and inventorying consumables, chemicals, and parts for instrumentation.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and work areas.
• Model our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you are actively contributing to a safe work environment.
• Other duties as required.

What You'll Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of previous experience working in an environmental laboratory is preferred.
