Purpose: The Lab Technician I is responsible for supporting daily laboratory operations in a manufacturing environment. This entry-level position performs routine testing and analysis under direct supervision, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols. The role supports the quality control team.

Primary Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):

1. Sample Preparation :

• Assist in sample preparation, labeling, and organization of laboratory materials

2. Physical Testing :

• Perform routine physical testing of samples using basic laboratory equipment and standard operating procedures (e.g., sieve, wet sieve, bulk density, specific gravity, pH)

3. Particle Size Testing :

• Prepare and analyze particle size testing utilizing Coulter and Malvern instrumentation

4. Communication :

• Communicate test results to senior lab staff

5. Equipment Maintenance :

• Perform basic equipment care and maintenance

6. Data Recording :

• Record and maintain data logs accurately for test results and observations

7. Solution Preparation :

• Prepare solutions needed for senior lab staff (e.g., mobile phase, ISTD)
• Maintain proper housekeeping in the laboratory

8. Support :

• Support senior lab staff when instructed

9. Safety Compliance :

• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures
