Job summary

Sibelco is seeking a Technician Lab to join the High Purity Quartz Analytical Lab Team. You will prepare samples, run analyses, and report results for routine and non-routine plant samples.

You will gain proficiency with ICP spectrometers, laser particle sizing, and the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Ideal candidates have a 4-year degree or equivalent lab experience, with 1–3 years in a lab setting and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1-3 year’s experience in a laboratory setting or coursework may substitute for experience.
• Fluency in English and local language.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples and conduct analyses in the Analytical Services Laboratories.
• Maintain competence to perform routine analytical procedures per SOPs.
• Operate and maintain instrumentation (ICP, laser particle sizer) and LIMS.
• Ensure data quality: accuracy, precision, and conforming to standards.
• Support safety and housekeeping to minimize contamination.
