Job summary

Sibelco is seeking a Technician Lab to join the High Purity Quartz Analytical Lab Team. You will perform analytical procedures on plant and research samples, operate ICP spectrometers and laser particle sizers, and maintain quality data in the LIMS system.

The role requires a 4-year degree or equivalent experience, 1–3 years in a laboratory setting, and strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• For this role, a 4-year degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 1-3 years of laboratory experience; coursework may substitute for experience.
• Must be a self-starter able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in the local language and written/spoken English is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples, conduct analyses, and report results to the Analytical Services Laboratories.
• Maintain competence to perform routine procedures per SOPs and use LIMS.
• Operate ICP, laser particle sizer, and related instrumentation; troubleshoot as needed.
• Validate and develop analytical procedures; ensure data accuracy and quality.
• Maintain facilities, calibrations, and safety practices; meet turnaround goals.
