Job summary

01 Vitalant is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support donor products manufacturing in Rosemont, IL. You will handle component production, labeling, data entry, and records review in a role that offers hands-on learning across laboratory operations with a mission-driven team.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm; E/O weekend shift 11:00 am–7:30 pm. Location: 5505 Pearl Street, Rosemont, IL 60018. Base wage: $18.37–$19.88 per hour. Comprehensive benefits included.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate data records and documentation.
• Prepare blood components through centrifugation, separation, freezing, thawing, washing, storage, sterile docking, transformation, and filtration.
• Ensure product quality, volume, appearance, and time requirements.
• Conduct labeling for routine and special components and implement quarantine procedures.
