Axle Labs in Rockville, MD is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support the NIH facilities, focusing on cancer biology and translational research. You will perform lab experiments, process patient samples, and assist with molecular analyses under supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of laboratory experience.
• Experience with cell culture, Western blotting, immunofluorescence and/or IHC.
• DNA and RNA preparation and sample processing.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory experiments and analyses per established protocols.
• Conduct tissue culture, cell separation, protein analysis, and lab testing.
• Prepare and process biological specimens including blood and tumor tissue.
• Extract and prepare DNA/RNA for downstream analyses.
• Maintain detailed lab records and summarize results.
• Assist with data preparation for publications and presentations.
• Coordinate lab operations, inventory, procurement, and supply ordering.
• Train new personnel and support ongoing projects.
