SGS North America Inc. in New Jersey is seeking a Lab Technician I to prepare samples with precision per SOPs. You will work independently and in teams to meet daily targets, follow safety practices, and maintain a clean, compliant lab environment.

This role emphasizes hands-on testing, calibration, and documentation across multiple departments. The position requires a high school diploma, 0–2 years in analytical labs, and prefers an associate degree in chemistry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-2 years in analytical chemistry labs preferred.
• Associates degree in chemistry or related field preferred.
• Hands-on lab skills and safe practices required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for analysis according to SOPs using department-specific instruments.
• Perform routine operation, maintenance, calibration of prep instruments.
• Assist with validation and MDL studies.
• Input and maintain technical information to support lab operations.
• Maintain Laboratory Notebook as applicable.
• Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
