Job summary

Pace Analytical Services, LLC in Westborough, MA is seeking a Lab Technician in our Wet Chemistry department to support sample preparation and ensure quality data for environmental testing.

You'll receive training and grow a career in laboratory sciences, working in a safety-conscious environment with PPE provided. The schedule is Tuesday–Saturday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with compensation of $18.00–$19.00 per hour and full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in a STEM with chemistry credit hour preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, stand for long periods, and wear PPE during sample handling.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.

What You'll Bring

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in a STEM with chemistry credit hour preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear personal protective equipment while handling samples (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves - all provided by Pace).
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.
