Job summary

Pace Analytical Services, LLC's environmental testing lab in Greensburg, PA is hiring a Lab Technician I to support sample-related activities in the environmental laboratory. You will receive training and grow an exciting laboratory sciences career at Pace.

We seek curious, motivated individuals with a high school diploma or equivalent, who can work in a lab setting, wear PPE, and contribute to accurate data. Prior lab experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting and wear PPE.
• Experience in laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.

Compensation: $15.00 per hour

Hours: Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM

The salary for this position reflects a variety of factors. Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's geographic location, relevant experience, education, skills, and alignment with internal equity. What You'll Do

• Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear personal protective equipment while handling samples (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves - all provided by Pace).
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.
