Job summary

Pace® Analytical Services in Duluth, GA is seeking a Lab Technician to support sample-related activities in the environmental testing lab. You’ll participate in preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance, with training provided to grow in laboratory sciences.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to work in a lab/office setting while wearing PPE. Prior lab/environmental testing experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, stand for long periods, work around strong smells, and wear PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves).
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.

Compensation: $17.50 per hour

The salary for this position reflects a variety of factors. Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s geographic location, relevant experience, education, skills, and alignment with internal equity. Market conditions, budgetary considerations, and organizational compensation guidelines may also influence the final offer.
