Job summary

Pace® Lab Technician I role in our environmental testing lab centers on supporting sample preparation and ensuring accurate data handling. You will contribute to a safe, compliant workflow while gaining hands-on experience in a nationwide network of laboratories.

You will join a mission-driven team with training provided, Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and a starting pay of $15 per hour, with a path for growth as you advance in environmental science.

Qualifications

• Experience or familiarity with lab safety and documentation practices.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, stand for long periods, and use PPE.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.

• Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear personal protective equipment while handling samples (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves — all provided by Pace®).
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.
