Job summary

Pace® Labs is seeking a Lab Technician for our environmental testing laboratory. The role follows a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule with overtime and weekends as needed.

You’ll receive training to support sample handling, documentation, and standard lab policies, while contributing to the safety and quality data Pace® provides to its partners and communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves) provided by Pace.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.

• Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.

Lab Technician Compensation: $17.00 per hour. Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (overtime and weekends as needed). The salary for this position reflects a variety of factors. Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s geographic location, relevant experience, education, skills, and alignment with internal equity. Market conditions, budgetary considerations, and organizational compensation guidelines may also influence the final offer.
