Job summary

Pace Analytical Services, LLC is seeking a Lab Technician for our environmental testing laboratory. This part-time role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM, with training provided to perform sample preparation and basic lab support.

You will join a team focused on safe, accurate data collection and contribute to ongoing environmental science work. A high school diploma is required and prior lab experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, stand for long periods, and wear PPE (provided by Pace).

• Support laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.

Lab Technician

Compensation: $18.00 per hour

Hours: Part-Time - Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

The salary for this position reflects a variety of factors. Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's geographic location, relevant experience, education, skills, and alignment with internal equity. Market conditions, budgetary considerations, and organizational compensation guidelines may also influence the final offer.

What You'll Do

• Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.

• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear personal protective equipment while handling samples (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves - all provided by Pace).
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.
