System One, Inc. is seeking a Geotechnical Lab Technician to join our West Valley City and Ogden, Utah teams. The role combines lab and field work with hands-on geotechnical testing experience and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities include performing soil, aggregate, and concrete testing, documenting results, collecting samples, and assisting with field inspections. Immediate start, full-time, with competitive hourly pay and opportunities for certification advancement.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of geotechnical, construction materials, or laboratory testing experience.
• Familiarity with soil and aggregate testing procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document results.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Geotechnical Lab Technician to join our team in the West Valley City and Ogden, Utah areas. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands‑on geotechnical testing experience who enjoys working both in the lab and in the field.

What You’ll Do

• Perform laboratory testing of soil, aggregate, concrete, and other construction materials
• Conduct testing in accordance with applicable ASTM and AASHTO standards
• Prepare and document laboratory test results accurately

• Maintain testing equipment and a clean, organized laboratory

What We’re Looking For
