Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive and test construction materials such as soils, aggregates, and concrete.
• Perform laboratory testing including Moisture Content and Compressive Strength.
• Record accurate data and report findings to the Laboratory Manager.
• Maintain lab equipment and workspace according to safety and quality standards.

We are seeking an Experienced Laboratory Technician to join our laboratory team in Phoenix, AZ. This is a full‑time opportunity for individuals interested in a hands‑on role testing construction materials and supporting infrastructure development. • Compensation: $22-25/hour (depending on experience)
• Location: West Valley City, UT
• FLSA Exemption: Non‑Exempt
• Schedule: Full‑time, 40 hours/week (schedule may vary)

What you’ll be doing

• Receive and test construction materials such as soils, aggregates, and concrete

• Perform laboratory testing including:

  • Moisture Content

  • Sieve Analysis

  • Atterberg Limits

  • Proctor Compaction

  • Consolidation

  • Direct Shear

  • Compressive Strength

• Record accurate data and report findings to the Laboratory Manager

• Maintain lab equipment and workspace according to safety and quality standards

What you have

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license

• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

• Willingness to follow procedures and contribute to team success

What will make you stand out
