Job summary

Kelly Science & Clinical has a temporary Lab Technician role in Quincy, MA. The job runs about six months, with a Monday–Friday 7am–4pm shift and compensation of $25–$27/hr.

You will use aseptic technique in a Biosafety Cabinet to process tissues, perform QC testing, manage NetSuite Work Orders, and oversee inventory and equipment maintenance. Strong teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of laboratory experience performing aseptic techniques per SOPs.
• 1 year of experience in logistics and/or material management.
• Excellent time management, punctuality and reliability.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Process bulk human tissues in a Biosafety Cabinet using aseptic technique.
• Perform QC testing (cell counting and viability) and release testing.
• Manage Work Orders, Assembly Builds, Material Transfers in NetSuite ERP.
• Maintain consumable inventory and perform cycle counts in NetSuite.
• Maintain general lab, facility and equipment (PMs, calibrations, repairs).
• Handle packaging and logistics for shipments (FedEx and local couriers).
• Handle and dispose of biological waste.
• Other duties as assigned.

Kelly Science & Clinical has a new temporary opportunity for a Lab Technician in Quincy, MA!

Temporary - 6 months

Shift: M-F 7am-4pm

Compensation: $25-27/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Utilizing aseptic technique in a Biosafety Cabinet to process bulk human tissues per established standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Perform quality control (QC) testing (cell counting and viability testing) of produced products and evaluation of tested parameters against established specifications and determining release for shipment
• Management and execution of Work Orders, Assembly Builds, Material Transfers, and Fulfillment tasks, including data recording and troubleshooting within NetSuite ERP
• Maintenance of consumable inventory (ordering, cycle counting, inventory adjustments in NetSuite, receiving, put away)
• Management of General Lab, Facility and Equipment Maintenance (Equipment PMs, Calibrations, repairs, etc.)
• Performance of controlled temperature packaging and logistics activities (scheduling, system entry, labeling) for Commercial (Fed Ex) and independent (local couriers) carriers. Customer service and vendor management
• Handling and disposing of biological waste
• Other duties as assigned
