Smart Resources Group is seeking an experienced Quality Lab Technician to support quality and food safety in a beverage manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes microbiological testing, aseptic sampling, and environmental monitoring in a GMP-driven setting.

The successful candidate will perform microbiological testing, product sampling, and quality testing while ensuring compliance with GMP and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in food manufacturing within a GMP environment.
• Laboratory experience in a food, beverage or manufacturing setting.
• Experience with microbiological testing and aseptic sampling.
• Laboratory management or lead experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of GMP and food safety practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work a rotating 3-3-4 schedule with 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing and aseptic sampling.
• Test raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
• Conduct pH and commercial sterility testing.
• Perform environmental swabbing, air monitoring, and water sampling.
• Prepare materials and equipment for microbial testing.
• Accurately document laboratory results and maintain quality records.
• Assist with quality investigations and corrective actions.
• Support daily laboratory operations.
• Follow all GMP, Food Safety, Quality, and Safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment.

Education

Lab TechnicianLocation: Ogden, UT Pay: $18.65/hour Schedule: Rotating 3-3-4 | 12-Hour Shifts Hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Bachelor's Degree Required
