Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician for a 1-year contract in Florence, SC. The role supports test kit preparation, solution preparation, and maintenance of analytical equipment in a GMP-regulated environment.

The position is ideal for college students or recent graduates looking to build hands-on industry experience. Working hours are first shift, with responsibilities including documenting activities, performing daily OQ checks, and maintaining inventory and lab records.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related physical science.
  • Knowledge of standard laboratory safety requirements and basic chemistry calculations.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage priorities and maintain organized documentation.
  • Ability to lift 10-35 lbs periodically and wear required PPE (lab coat, safety shoes, gloves).

Responsibilities

  • Compile and organize analytical testing kits containing columns, glassware, mobile phases, and reference standards for senior scientists.
  • Accurately prepare mobile phases and sample diluents, performing solution calculations verified by senior chemists.
  • Document all preparation activities and lab notebook entries in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Perform daily Operational Qualification (OQ) on analytical equipment, including balances and Karl Fischer titrators.
  • Maintain laboratory inventory, sample log-in documentation, glassware cleaning, and proper waste disposal.

Job Summary

Targeting college students or recent graduates looking to build hands-on industry experience! A top-tier pharmaceutical leader in Florence, SC is seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician for a 1-year opportunity on 1st shift (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM). In this key role, you will prepare test kits, support solution preparation, and maintain analytical equipment in a GMP-regulated lab environment.
