Job summary

Collabera Inc. is seeking a Lab Tech I in Waco, TX for a 6-month, on-site assignment. The role involves coordinating sample receipt, conducting routine analytical testing, and inputting data into the computer system. Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree with 0–3+ years of lab experience and familiarity with GMP environments.

Shifts include 8:00–17:00 and 14:00–22:00, with hourly pay between $18 and $20. On-site work and robust benefits are provided where eligible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 0–3+ years lab experience.
• Experience with pharma/biotech quality control testing preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organized work habits.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sample receipt and testing and input data into computer systems.
• Perform routine analytical testing to support QC in pharma/biotech.
• Interpret data and document results with good laboratory practices.
• Operate analytical equipment such as spectrophotometer, pH meter, and balances.

Job description

Position Title: Lab Tech I

Length of Contract:6 months /100% on-site

Shift:

MON-FRI 8 AM - 5 PM shift

MON – FRI 2PM – 10PM

Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 Per Hour

Coordinate sample receipt and testing of samples and input data into computer application. Perform routine analytical testing to support quality control testing of pharmaceutical products. Some data interpretation required. have good laboratory skills, preferably in pharma/biotech.

Experience in operating analytical equipment preferred (analytical balance, total carbon analyzer, spectrophotometer, pH meter). Should exhibit good problem-solving skills.

Should possess computer skills as well as good communication skills.

Education: Bachelor’s degree and 0-3+ years of laboratory experience

Experience with pharma/biotech quality control testing is preferred but not required.
