Job summary

Agru America, Inc. is seeking a Lab Technician to test materials before, during, and after production, ensuring products meet specifications. You will examine and measure quality and record data.

Responsibilities include using the database to log measurements, labeling archived samples, maintaining a clean work area, and escalating deficiencies promptly. High school diploma required; preferred 1 year QA/testing experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prefer at least 1 year of quality testing experience.
• Good written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Examines, measures, and tests the quality of products in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner.
• Utilize database to record measurements
• Label/package archived product or marketing samples
• If deficiencies found in products notify supervisor or manager to be done in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean working environment
• Any other duties that the Company assigns as needed.

Job Summary:

Lab Technician test materials before, during, and after production to measure the characteristics of materials and ensure that they confirm to the specifications of the product. They are responsible for inspecting and testing products for quality and accuracy.

Education and Experience:

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to frequently lift/carry/push/pull up to 75 pounds.
• This position requires, but is not limited to, standing, walking, utilizing stairs or ladders, driving automatic forklift, climbing, squatting, stooping, twisting, bending, grabbing and grasping.
• Must be able to work in a non-controlled environment
