Job summary

Agru America, Inc. is seeking a manufacturing operator at our Nevada site. You will operate and monitor equipment, follow production schedules, and help maintain quality while upholding strict safety standards.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, data recording, and collaborating with teammates to optimize processes. Prior manufacturing experience and forklift operation are required or strongly preferred, with training provided where needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical degree or certification preferred.
• Experience with 5S is preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or production experience +1 year, required.
• Forklift experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery.
• Follow production schedules and meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to improve production processes.
• Maintain accurate records of production data and equipment maintenance.
• Adhere to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
• Assist in training new employees in manufacturing procedures.
• Maintains understanding of raw materials and appropriate manufacturing locations.
• Check the quality of products.
• Examines, measures and weighs materials or products.
• Inform the shift supervisor about product quality problems, equipment problems and safety concerns.
• Any other duties that the Company may assign as needed.

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent; required
• Technical degree or certification, preferred
• Experience with 5s, preferred
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment +1 year, required
• Experience as a machine mechanic, preferred
• Some electrical, preferred
• Overhead crane, preferred
• Quality control experience, preferred
• Forklift experience, required

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to frequently lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds
• This position requires, but is not limited to, standing, walking, utilizing stairs or ladders, driving automatic forklift, climbing, squatting, stooping, twisting, bending, grabbing and grasping
• Must be able to work in a non-controlled environment
