Job summary

Agru America is seeking a production shift/team lead to supervise daily operations on the production floor and ensure safety and quality standards are met. You will monitor processes, mentor team members, and coordinate with maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in manufacturing, experience with 5S, forklift operation, and basic electrical knowledge. This role may require overtime and occasional travel for training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical degree or certification preferred.
• Experience as a production shift/team lead required.
• Experience with 5s preferred.
• +2 years in manufacturing or production environment required.
• Experience as a machine mechanic required.
• Some electrical experience preferred.
• Overhead crane required.
• Quality control experience preferred.
• Forklift experience required.

Responsibilities

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; required
• Technical degree or certification, preferred
• Experience as a production shift/team lead, required

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment +2 years, required

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to frequently lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds
• This position requires, but is not limited to, standing, walking, utilizing stairs or ladders, driving automatic forklift, climbing, squatting, stooping, twisting, bending, grabbing and grasping
• Must be able to work in a non-controlled environment
