Job summary

AGRU AMERICA, INC. is seeking a Lab Technician to test materials before, during, and after production to ensure they meet product specifications.

You will inspect and test products for quality and accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include examining, measuring, and testing product quality, recording measurements in a database, labeling archived samples, maintaining a clean work area, and promptly notifying supervision of any deficiencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Preference for at least 1 year in quality testing.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work safely.
• Basic math and unit conversion skills, computer literacy.
• Clear written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Examines, measures, and tests product quality accurately and efficiently.
• Utilizes database to record measurements.
• Labels and packages archived samples.
• Notifies supervisor of deficiencies in a timely manner.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the company.

Lab Technician test materials before, during, and after production to measure the characteristics of materials and ensure that they confirm to the specifications of the product. They are responsible for inspecting and testing products for quality and accuracy.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to frequently lift/carry/push/pull up to 75 pounds.
• This position requires, but is not limited to, standing, walking, utilizing stairs or ladders, driving automatic forklift, climbing, squatting, stooping, twisting, bending, grabbing and grasping.
• Must be able to work in a non-controlled environment
