Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Lab Technician in Detroit, MI, onsite. You will perform a range of analyses, prepare reagents, operate and calibrate instruments, and help maintain regulatory records. A bachelor’s degree in a related science and 1–3 years of lab experience are required.

The role offers an industrial environment focused on environmental services, with potential overtime and a pathway to gain hands-on expertise in laboratory processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical, microbiological, toxicological, and physical analyses, including reagent and media preparation, instrument calibration and maintenance.
• Support operational efficiency by applying laboratory analyses and treatment process knowledge.
• Maintain records and report laboratory data and regulatory submissions.

What's the Job?

• Perform chemical, microbiological, toxicological, and physical analyses, including reagent and media preparation, instrument operation, calibration, and maintenance
• Become knowledgeable in laboratory analyses and treatment processes to support operational efficiency
• Contribute to record-keeping, reporting of laboratory data, regulatory submissions, and operational reports

What's Needed?

• Bachelors Degree or higher from an accredited college or university in chemistry, engineering, or a related science
• 1-3 years of Laboratory experience, with a preference in wet chemistry
