Job summary

Intrepid Potash, Inc. in Carlsbad, New Mexico is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform sample preparation and analysis of plant materials using XRD, Camsizer, flame photometry, and related methods.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail, sound critical-thinking skills, and the ability to accurately follow laboratory procedures and document results.
• Ability to frequently walk and stand and perform work involving sitting, talking, hearing, visual inspection, color differentiation, precise hand and finger movements, twisting, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching, and grasping.
• Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds; climb stairs and ladders; potentially work at heights; wear required PPE; and perform strenuous physical activity.
• High school diploma or GED; trade or technical education, or some college coursework, is preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
