Protein Solutions is seeking a QA Lab Technician to support daily quality testing in a 24/7 plant environment in Joplin, MO. The role involves testing finished products, recording data, and maintaining lab operations with shift coverage Thursday through Saturday and alternating Sundays, 6am-6:30pm, with a $.50 shift premium.

Responsibilities include Saf-Test analyses, moisture, ash, fat, and protein testing, documentation, equipment maintenance, and collaboration with QA managers.

Quality Assurance Lab Technician

Protein Solutions is an employee-centered company that exists to create value with our pet food partners by providing quality ingredients and supply chain solutions. Plant operations are 24 hours per day, 7 days per week with position opportunities on:

• C shift: Thursday – Saturday with alternating Sundays; 6am to 6:30pm ($.50 shift premium)

QA Lab Technicians must be willing to work their scheduled shift including nights and weekends; additional overtime may be required. Protein Solutions also offers shift differential payment for those working nights and weekends. Position Purpose

The Lab Tech position is responsible for maintaining daily quality standards according to company policy and Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures, as well as to record and perform analytical tests on finished product.
