Job summary

The role emphasizes adherence to CLIA, OSHA, and Georgia health regulations, with preferred phlebotomy certification and basic lab process knowledge. Prior healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification through ASCP/ASPT/NCA or equivalent preferred.
• Basic knowledge of venipuncture/phlebotomy preferred.
• Working knowledge of clinical laboratory processes preferred.
• Experience performing EKGs preferred.
• Healthcare or clinical laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Performs venipunctures and prepares blood specimens.
• Assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks.
