Job summary

iCatalyst, Inc. is seeking a Lab Technician II to join our federal program team in Egg Harbor, New Jersey. This role focuses on advanced materials testing of pavement materials and data-driven analysis to support project success.

The position requires 8 years of relevant experience with asphalt, aggregate, concrete, and soil testing, along with federal program exposure and strong documentation skills. Onsite work in NJ is required.

Qualifications

• Required degree with extensive construction materials testing experience.
• Experience performing lab and field testing per ASTM/AASHTO procedures.
• Ability to analyze test data and prepare technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced laboratory and field testing of pavement materials including aggregates, asphalt, soils, concrete, and related construction materials.
• Conduct testing in accordance with project requirements and approved procedures (ASTM/AASHTO).
• Analyze laboratory test data, identify trends, and flag material performance issues.
• Support acceptance testing for asphalt, concrete, aggregate, and soil evaluations.
• Mentor junior technicians and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
