Job summary

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Lab Tech - I (Assistant) to join our pharmaceutical client in Millsboro, DE. This 6-month contract to start with extensions is based in a GMP manufacturing setting.

The position requires 1+ year of lab experience, ability to perform aseptic procedures, and strong attention to safety and quality. Shift options vary; rotates, and overtime may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• 1yr+ lab experience required.
• Able to apply knowledge to complete assigned work.
• Read, write and comprehend information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Clean work area, floors, walls, tables.
• Prepare, clean, and sterilize glassware and equipment.
• Assist with equipment setup and operation.
• Perform aseptic procedures including product formulation and filling.
• Maintain accurate records and charts.
• Adhere to safety and SOPs at all times.
• Handle vaccine formulation, filling, labeling and packaging tasks.
• Assist in training new team members and document anomalies.
• Possibly manage hazardous wastes if trained.
• Support non-aseptic lab tasks as needed.
• Assist in reviewing SOPs and production records.
• Attend trainings to improve job skills.
