Job summary

Collabera Inc. in Waco, TX is seeking a Lab Technician to support quality control testing of pharmaceutical products.

Responsibilities include coordinating sample receipt, data input, and routine analytical testing using lab instrumentation; strong attention to detail is essential.

Bachelor’s degree with 0–3 years of pharma/biotech lab experience is preferred; on-site 6-month contract with standard first shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or biochemistry or associate degree.
• 0–3+ years of laboratory experience.
• Basic lab instrumentation knowledge.
• Attention to detail and organized.
• GMP laboratory setting experience.
• Experience in pharma/biotech quality control testing preferred but not required.

• Perform routine analytical testing to support quality control testing of pharmaceutical products.
• Operate analytical equipment and interpret data with good laboratory skills.
• Maintain clear communication and documentation.

Job description

Length of Contract:6 months /100% on-site

Location: Waco TX - 76712
Shift: 1st shift Tuesday - Saturday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM and Monday - Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST

Pay Rate: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour

• Coordinate sample receipt and testing of samples and input data into computer application.
• Perform routine analytical testing to support quality control testing of pharmaceutical products.
• Some data interpretation required. have good laboratory skills, preferably in pharma/biotech.
• Experience in operating analytical equipment preferred (analytical balance, total carbon analyzer, spectrophotometer, pH meter).
• Should exhibit good problem-solving skills. Should possess computer skills as well as good communication skills.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree and 0-3+ years of laboratory experience

Experience with pharma/biotech quality control testing is preferred but not required.
