Job summary

Reynolds Consumer Products is seeking a hands-on RDE Lab Team Lead at our Jacksonville, IL manufacturing plant. You will lead laboratory testing, direct daily operations, and drive audit readiness while coaching a team to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality data.

Responsibilities include setting priorities with management, performing tests, driving improvements in methods and workflows, and communicating results for cost reduction, new product development, and competitive assessments.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in manufacturing or lab settings.
• Strong written and verbal communication with cross-functional teams.
• Proven problem-solving skills and data-driven decision making.
• Familiarity with manufacturing data tools and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead as a hands-on laboratory manager, directing testing and activities.
• Coordinate workload, set priorities, and ensure timely project delivery.
• Act as audit lead, preparing documentation and closing actions.
• Maintain audit-ready lab spaces, records, and data systems.
• Coach and mentor lab staff to improve capabilities and compliance.
• Perform and oversee physical property and end-use testing on products.
• Ensure data integrity by accurate recording into Gainseeker database.
• Communicate results to stakeholders to support cost, NPD, and competitive analyses.
