Job summary

Mercy Laboratory is seeking a Laboratory Support Technician (LST II) to assist with reports, data and scheduling in the laboratory. This role emphasizes accurate, timely support and delivering Mercy Signature Service Standards to every patient and team member.

The LST II collects specimens as required for testing, maintains HIPAA confidentiality, and follows lab policies with professionalism and compassion. A high school diploma and 6 months phlebotomy experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months phlebotomy or clinical laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Support reports, data and scheduling functions in the laboratory.
• Exhibit excellent customer service under Mercy Signature Service Standards.
• Collect specimens for testing and observe HIPAA confidentiality.
