Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year lab experience or 2 years of college in natural, physical, or social sciences.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and basic Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Ability to read and write English and respond to emails with proper grammar.
• Experience operating glass wash and autoclave machines and calculating temperatures/times.
• Strong organization, judgment, and the ability to work with customers at all levels.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects to timely completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide glass washing and autoclaving services for wet lab researchers.
• Support shared services such as booking conference rooms, distributing mail, stocking break rooms.
• Prepare purchase requisitions and submit work order requests online.
• Demonstrate professionalism and maintain good attendance.
