Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• All certifications are required upon hire (BLS or ARC-BLS or BLS-Instructor).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in specimen processing in an outpatient or hospital laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead duties in the absence of the supervisor or manager.
• Operate multiple computer systems with accuracy and quality (HIS/LIS).
• Communicate effectively with customers while maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
• Handle patient specimens appropriately for tests indicated.
• Maintain Phlebotomy competency if applicable.
• Assist in orientation and training of new staff.
