Job summary

Labcorp in Holyoke, MA is seeking a Support Services Team Leader to supervise day-to-day operations in the Department Name department, and to guide the team through daily processes and quality checks.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years in a lab, healthcare, manufacturing or warehouse setting, and strong computer skills. You’ll manage workflow, coordinate testing prep, and drive process improvements while upholding policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the supervision of the day to day operations of the Department Name department

• Oversee routing of specimens to their respective prep areas
• Encourage process improvements and best practices
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency and accuracy
• Resolve any production errors as requested by management
• Research and resolve any production errors while escalating when necessary
• Engage in continuous process and service level improvements
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency and accuracy
• Enforce and manage policies and procedures
• Perform administrative duties as needed

Labcorp is seeking a Support Services Team Leader to join our team in Holyoke, MA.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (8pm-4:30am)

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 or more years of experience in a laboratory, healthcare, manufacturing or warehouse environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree
• 6 months or more of experience in a clinical laboratory
• 6 months or more supervising or leading a team

Additional Job Standards

• Understanding of laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures
• Strong computer skills; Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• High level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask
• Ability to work in a fast paced production environment and meet established turn-around times
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs

Pay Range: $23-$27/hr. + Shift Differential

• Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
• Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
