Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
• ASCP Certification or equivalent credential required.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a specialized laboratory department.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience within a lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operation of the laboratory section and ensure policy compliance.
• Manage staff scheduling, timecard review, and performance evaluations.
• Lead training, competency assessments, and ongoing education for staff.
• Oversee QC/QA programs and regulatory compliance (JC/CLIA/CAP).
• Oversee equipment maintenance, validation, and supply management.
• Collaborate with medical director and administrative staff on process improvements.
