Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Accessioner/Processor in Oak Creek, WI to prepare specimens, label and route them for testing. You will enter patient data accurately and support production goals in a fast-paced lab environment.

The role requires a high school diploma and may involve lifting up to 40 lbs and color vision testing. A dependable team player with good data entry skills will thrive in this production-based setting.

Together, we’re improving health and improving lives. LabCorp is seeking a Specimen Accessioner/Processor to join our Specimen Processing and Accessioning team in Oak Creek, WI.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00pm - 4:30am, rotating weekends.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
• Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas
• Accurately identify and label specimens
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities
• Meet department activity and production goals
• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Resolve and document any problem specimens

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year or more of experience in a medical or production environment

• Comfortable handling biological specimens
• Ability to accurately identify specimens
• Experience working in a team environment
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Office
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
