Job summary
Lam Research Corporation seeks a Laboratory Service Engineer to maintain and upgrade equipment in our applications lab. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and installation of prototype equipment, while supporting cross‑functional R&D activities and customer demos in a hybrid work model.
You will collaborate with process development, hardware, and software teams to ensure alignment on priorities and deliver robust documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 5+ years of experience, or Associates degree with 7+ years or equivalent.
- Front End Nights schedule: Saturday to Tuesday with alternating Saturdays 7PM–7:30AM.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades and calibrations on equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, electromechanical, and vacuum systems; handle hazardous materials with PPE.
- Install prototype equipment and develop procedures/documentation for support and demos.
- Collaborate with process development, hardware and software engineering on R&D activities and customer demos.
