Job summary

The incumbent will supervise staff, conduct performance reviews, assist in hiring, and maintain records per CAP, GDHR, and DNV guidelines. This is an on-site role in a hospital laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology from an accredited institution or equivalent
• ASCP, NCA, or AMT certified technologist with MT training
• Minimum of 3 years of lab experience
• Technologist role with knowledge of quality assurance and staff management

Responsibilities

• Manage section operations to ensure quality patient care.
• Oversee staff training and performance reviews.
• Counsel and manage personnel; participate in hiring and termination decisions.
• Ensure records and reports meet CAP, GDHR, and DNV requirements.
• Maintain quality control and investigate variances and complaints.
• Support education programs and in-services for staff.
