Job summary

VYBOND SPECIALTY ADHESIVES LLC is seeking a Product Development Test Technician to execute laboratory testing and prepare lab-scale adhesive samples. You will work under the Product Development Test Engineer, maintaining data accuracy and following SOPs while supporting process validation and product improvements.

You will employ techniques like FTIR, rheology, microscopy, and standard tape testing, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• 1–2 years related lab or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with pressure-sensitive adhesives testing desirable.
• Strong data collection, organization, and ability to follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Execute lab testing and prepare lab-scale adhesive samples.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Analyze data and communicate results to cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485 and internal policies.
• Promote safety, data integrity, and proper chemical handling.
• Support cost-reduction initiatives and track relevant metrics.
